We believe the very first weeks of a puppy’s life shape their temperament and health forever. On our Portland farm, our Miniature Dachshunds are cherished family members—not kennel stock. We intentionally maintain an exclusive, boutique breeding program devoted strictly to true Miniatures (under 11 lbs) where mothers nurse peacefully in quiet bedrooms, and puppies step onto soft clover grass as soon as their eyes open.
Whether you are searching for an enchanting miniature long-haired companion with silky feathering who loves tucking under blankets on rainy Oregon afternoons, or a playful smooth-coated mini doxie to bring endless joy to your household, we take pride in matching you with a puppy whose personality complements your home.
We dedicate 100% of our nursery to true Miniature Dachshunds (11 lbs & under at maturity). We do not breed or sell Standard Dachshunds, allowing us to focus our selective health testing, nursery care, and love entirely on world-class Mini Long-Hairs and petite companions.
Our farm’s premier pride. Known for their refined spaniel heritage, miniature long-haired Dachshunds carry sweeping silk feathering on their ears, chest, and tail plume. Exceptionally sweet, dociley affectionate, and low-shedding cuddle companions.
Discover our velvety smooth-coated miniature doxies and unique color lines. Sleek, shiny, and requiring minimal grooming, these spirited companions have keen intelligence, affectionate loyalty, and a joyful penchant for burrowing under fleece blankets.
While Standard Dachshunds (16–32 lbs) have a proud working history, our breeding program is dedicated 100% to true Miniatures. Miniatures are the ultimate household lap dogs—lightweight, easy to lift safely, approved for under-seat airplane cabin travel, and gentle companions for quiet Pacific Northwest homes.
Each puppy pictured below is a real, healthy Miniature Dachshund raised in our Portland farm nursery. Fixed direct adoption fee of $600 USD. Vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and backed by our 2-year warranty.

Known throughout history for their refined feathering and exceptionally gentle disposition, miniature long-haired Dachshunds hold a special place on our farm. Their coats are soft as silk, with elegant plume-like fringes on their ears, chest, legs, and tail that flow gracefully as they trot through the grass.
Historically crossed with gentle spaniels, long-hairs are famously affectionate lap snugglers.
A simple 5-minute brush 3 times a week maintains silky feathering with zero harsh tangles.
We empower every family with honest information, practical tools, and veterinarian-backed guidance before bringing a puppy home.
Ground-based projection based on parent genetics and 12-month AKC growth standards.
Breeder Guideline Note:
Dachshund bone structure finishes forming around 10–12 months, followed by chest deepening. We evaluate parents’ 5-generation pedigree to guarantee size clarity.
Five essential daily habits every prospective Dachshund owner should know.
Dachshund spines undergo significant compression when leaping from 18+ inches. Sloped dog ramps eliminate 95% of accidental spinal impacts.
Always support the ribcage with your dominant hand while supporting the hindquarters with your other hand. Never pick up a Dachshund under the front armpits alone.
Attaching a leash to a neck collar transfers sudden tug forces into the cervical spine. A padded chest harness distributes pressure across the sternum.
A single extra pound on a 10-lb miniature Dachshund equals 15–20 extra pounds on a human spine. Keep an hourglass waist visible from above.
Long-haired Dachshunds sprout tufts between paw pads. Trimming prevents slipping on slick hardwood, which causes acute disc herniation.
“Our miniature long-haired puppy Alfred is the light of our home in Northwest Portland. The socialization and potty foundation he received on the farm made his transition effortless. Truly an exceptional, caring breeder.”
